Fact: When presented with more than 19 boxes, the human brain is no longer capable of recalling the contents of any box accurately.
This is what our study shows. A copy of our results is on the back of some napkin we lost at the party. Regardless we were fairly certain we all remembered that 19 was the most anyone could recall only an hour later. The next day the results were far worse.

We all have stuff. The thing is you may have collected too much of it to manage. Stuff that's not on display or in use today. It's in boxes or a closet or who knows where. 19 boxes aim is to help you stay on top of that. To get started you can go all in and re-organize everything, or take one of the simpler paths to success. Regardless you will end up with a clear picture of what you have and where you have it.
This sounds like work but we promise it is a fun bit. All you do is print out our "tags" and stick them on your boxes and stuff. Mostly on boxes keeps this step easy and fun. If you have kids - send them on a mission. That's it, you are now positioned for success in organizing and finding your stuff.
If you are all about easy, the next part is what you always do. Look for stuff and find it. Now that some box is open, scan its tag, take a photo of the stuff in it, box #1 is done. This is the low and slow method - we use it. Later on, we can add some notes about that box if we want. The photo will help us so we no longer need to open the box. Once the app helps you find one thing faster, you'll scan and open boxes for the fun of it.
If you are here because you are motivated to get organized now. Start tagging and opening boxes and taking photos and notes and using every other feature in the app. We won't stop you.

New boxes - packing/moving - that's the dream. Slap on a tag, get great photos as you pack it - cue the music.
Always take a break. Step 2 is all about just rummaging about the app and seeing if there is more in here you want to unpack.
We have this idea of "location" and it can mean anything really. From "The Basement" to "Offsite storage unit #2 /third shelf/top". You can put a tag on the storage unit as a location tag. Scan it and see what stuff is in there. Or scan a box then scan that tag to set the box in or out of the location. It's all fun and organized with many ways to get to know where your stuff is.
